Barely here...

...and already away.
I'm one of those people caught in that time between one bit of life and another; in this case, the transition from high school to college. While I can tell you very clearly exactly what I'm leaving behind, I'm not quite sure what's up ahead - I mean, yes, I can tell you that I'm currently packing various objects, that I have given away, recycled, and, at last resort, thrown away, more in the past week than I knew I even had, that I'm driving up to MA on Thursday and staying overnight with some family friends, going to my (temporary(?)) dorm the following day, and flying out to Yellowstone on Saturday morning, where I will be sure to take far too many pictures, hopefully some of which will turn out well. Then it's back to Boston on the 26th, math exams and orientation, and potentially moving/staying in my (permanent(!)) dorm, only to be "oriented" for about a week and a half, and start classes on the 6th.
But I can't say how much free time I'll have during and after all of this; classes will be considerably harder than I really want them to be, and I'm participating in a few freshman activities and whatnot outside of that. True, my school has a strange policy whereby first semester is pass/no record, but "no record" still forces me to retake the classes - which means more time in college, and thus more tuition money which I (or, more accurately, my parents) would prefer to keep for ourselves.
The point? While deviantART is clearly my One True Love, even the closest of relationships must sometimes step aside a little. So while I'll certainly lurk when I can, I'm afraid that I just won't have the time to comment or reply to comments consistently, unless you've said something that makes me remarkably happy, or your work is just 0.o in its amazingness, or I just decide to completely disregard everything I just said and say "screw classes, I'm in love with the Internet."
And now - to packing, sorting, giving away, throwing away, and, occasionally, tucking away. Some more.

If there's only a smiley on my comment above, the reason is that I couldn't find something dumb to say. [And that I like you and your stuff]
